Students Against Plastic Pollution Campaign

This Campaign empowers teachers and students with curriculum that combines plastic pollution education with civic engagement. Students will learn about the growing plastic pollution crisis, source reduction and recycling policies, and gain a better understanding of how strategies such as letter creating writing campaigns, circulating petitions and providing testimony at committee hearings can generate awareness and change.

With more than three decades of experience researching plastic pollution and educating both the public and policymakers, CAWF brings expertise that is rooted in hundreds of California communities. Designed in partnership with educators throughout the state, Students Against Plastic Pollution curriculum is offered free of charge, and CAWF actively promotes the campaign at teacher conferences and through online resources.
